I am working on some wire weaving techniques and came up with this original design for my first project last night. I posted it on Facebook earlier today and it is now spoken for — thanks so much!
Here are some clasps I made this last weekend after perusing Lisa Lynn Barth’s wonderful book on wire wrapping! I have been making clasps for a while, but I really like the spiral-with-a-V idea. I also played around with my torch to create balled ends. 14 and 16 gauge solid copper, LOS treatment, tumbled for a couple of hours.
Here is an in-progress teaser of a ring I recently finished. Seriously, I am making one for myself next! Order yours on my website or Etsy shop.
Metal allergies? This handmade copper pendant with howlite stone bead is knotted on to a 100% silk cord in deep aqua. Length: ~42 inches. Available now my shop.
New piece coming this weekend! Handmade cross pendant and a gorgeous mix of gemstone beads.
Update: This piece is now available.
I have been peeking into the world of mandalas lately, so I thought drawing a few original designs directly in copper would be fun for engraving! I am loving it — what about you?
Here is an in-progress shot of an engraving order for Christmas that went out this last weekend. Can you tell what it will be?
